Ushers & Greeters

Members of the congregation take turns serving as ushers on Sunday. They welcome those attending worship services and assist in preparing for and participating in worship.

This corps forms the front line of hospitality at each service with a greeting and distribution of bulletins. Other formal tasks include carrying the elements of Communion to the altar, passing and presenting collection plates, and restacking the books in the pews after the service.
But the real mission of the ushers is to provide a warm welcome and accommodation to everyone who comes through the doors of the church.
